Are pets allowed in the experience?
Pets are not permitted inside the venue. Service dogs are the only exception.
Are beers still brewed inside the building?
Brewing stopped in this building in 1988. Today the former brewery operates as an immersive brand experience. The original brew room can still be seen during the visit, and the experience includes beer tastings.
Can visitors arrive late for a time slot?
Arrival at the booked start time is strongly recommended. Timed entry helps keep the building comfortable and helps regulate visitor flow throughout the day.
Can the rooftop terrace be accessed?
Yes. Rooftop access is included with the Tour + Rooftop ticket.

The visit begins with a self-guided tour through the historic brewery (around 90 minutes). The route explores heritage, brewing, and key milestones, and finishes at the Best ‘Dam Bar with two chilled beers.
Rooftop access follows via a dedicated elevator, with additional context about the former malt attic and a terrace moment with Amsterdam views and an extra beer.
Is a separate time slot needed for the rooftop?
No. With a combination ticket (Tour + Rooftop), rooftop access is included and typically happens about 90 minutes after the tour start time.
Visitors with a standard tour ticket who wish to add the rooftop should ask staff in the entrance hall.
